Pre-sale starts on October 15, 2012 Next year’s Bachfest Leipzig will be held from 14-23 June 2013 under the motto “Vita Christi”. Pre-sale for Leipzig’s biggest annual music festival will start on October 15, 2012. Johann Sebastian Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, the St. John Passion and the Easter and Ascension Oratorios form together a grand oratorio project which must have been a highlight in the musical life of Leipzig, Saxony, in 1734/1735.
