Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRMN), the global leader in satellite navigation, announced the latest updates of its mobile navigation apps Garmin StreetPilot and Navigon for Europe. The updates include social media capabilities and integrate popular social media networks like Foursquare and Glympse. This will allow users to check in at various destinations, benefit from personalized POI suggestions and enables them to share their position with friends while the route guidance is active.
